Cups and Conversations
This ongoing collection of handmade teacups explores themes of memory, connection, and quiet ritual. Each cup is shaped in moments of reflection or care, often inspired by relationships and shared time over tea. The act of making serves as both a creative starting point and a grounding practice.
Over 100 teacups have been crafted to date—many gifted and undocumented—each one distinct in form and feeling. Drawing from natural landscapes, the pieces feature earthy textures that shift between rough and smooth, with minimal surface treatment. Raw clay is emphasized through restrained use of matte, ash glazes, and glass, highlighting the material’s inherent character.
